If you would like to try to change the name on a phone yourself try following these instructions:

  1. Press the Speaker key on your phone
  2. Dial 700
  3. Dial your extension number 
  4. Use the keypad to enter the name in standard text entry mode.
    1. # = Space
    2. Feature = Back space
    3. Hold = Enter
    4. Speaker = Cancel

Pressing the 2 key once will give you A, pressing it twice will get you B, pressing it four times will get you a, etc..
